INSURANCE
Does GuardOn help with your insurance?
Short answer: it can, but it depends on your insurer. Here's what we know, without overselling it.
What some insurers do
A number of insurers offer reduced premiums for vehicles fitted with a recognised security device. Whether that applies to you, and by how much, is entirely down to your insurer's own policy. We don't set or guarantee any discount.
Where we're up to on accreditation
TASSA/Thatcham accreditation for GuardOn is currently in progress. We're not yet accredited, and we won't say otherwise. We'll update this page as soon as that changes.
What to do
If a lower premium matters to you, the right move is to check directly with your own insurer. Tell them your vehicle has a fitted digital tracking and immobiliser system and ask how, or whether, that affects your policy. Don't take our word for it, or anyone else's, take theirs.
Need something in writing to show your insurer, like proof of installation or your device details? Get in touch with support and we'll help.
Protect your vehicle either way
Insurance discount or not, a hidden immobiliser and live tracking is real protection for your vehicle.
